Annual Appeal

Dear Friends,

We are heartened to hear your comments about our work:

“The center is such a gift for children and those who work with them!”

“Thank you again for yet another thoughtful and timely ECHOES. It seems you always choose issues relevant to my current experience!”

Regarding a discussion group lead using our book Parenting: A Sacred Journey: “After 8 weeks as a group we came away with insight into our parenting, a new acceptance of ourselves, and a deeper awareness of the presence of God. It is hard to put into words but to say it was transformative would not be an overstatement.”

Knowing that our programs, publications, and materials are of value to you and the children you serve bolsters our spirits and supports us in our joyful work of presenting the “hidden treasure” of the theology of children to the world.

Recently we’ve taken an exciting new step to bring this rich theology of children to a wider audience. On our new Facebook page, www.facebook.com/cctheo, we are posting theological reflections, artwork, and prayers from children. Connect with us on Facebook by clicking the LIKE button on our page, comment and reflect with us. And SPREAD THE WORD!

Already we have over 150 followers. We'd love to have 500, and we need your help! The posts are little windows into the spirituality of the child, perfect for sharing with friends. Invite you friends to follow us, link them to updates you particularly enjoy, and let them know how they can support our work!

Contributions comprise about a third of the Center's income. Your support makes the development of new resources and projects possible, while our programs and resources support themselves. Without your donations, our work would not be possible.

Your gifts of $20, added on to your subscription for ECHOES, have been so helpful. Your checks for $100, $200, and $500 get us through the lean months. Your large and small donations at this time are vital to keep the mission of CCTheo thriving.

Watch our website as exciting projects develop in the coming months, including Weaving Our Gifts 2010, new formation opportunities, adapting our work for parish and interfaith ministry, adding new resources to our catalog, expanding and sharing our database, and reaching out to a new friends on Facebook.

Be a part of these developing projects with your donations. Make easy, secure online donations through Network for Good, including one time donations or recurring monthly donations. To donate via check, click on the PDF link to print out and mail a donation form to us.

Blessings on your work,
Catherine Maresca, Kristi Medley, and Lindy Rivera
